Established in 1985, the Pharaohs Mystic Society is a distinguished Mardi Gras organization in Mobile, Alabama, renowned for its vibrant celebrations and commitment to community engagement. Embracing the mystique of ancient Egypt, the society infuses traditional Mardi Gras festivities with regal flair and imaginative themes.

In 2025, the Pharaohs commemorated their 40th anniversary with the theme “Phorty Years of Mischief,” showcasing their enduring spirit and creativity. On February 15, they led a captivating parade through downtown Mobile, featuring nine intricately designed floats that delighted spectators with their elaborate artistry and festive ambiance.

Following the parade, the society hosted its 40th Annual Ball at the Mobile Alabama Cruise Terminal. This formal masquerade event brought together members and guests for an evening of elegance, entertainment, and celebration, marking a significant milestone in the society’s history.
